- .NET DEVELOPER

 

.NET Developer:

M.X. Data (NY office) is currently looking for a .Net/E-Commerce Developer.  The selected candidate will join our E-Commerce Team to develop mid to large scale E-Commerce applications for our retail clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Design, implement and maintain web applications and infrastructure components
• Produce highly efficient and scalable code from the ground up
• Work on E-Commerce projects through multiple full cycles from concept to delivery
• Provide technical recommendations and documentation

Qualifications and Skills:
Required
• 5+ years programming experience
• Strong established experience with at least one web application language such as Perl, PHP, C, C++, .NET (C#, VB, JS)
• Must have prior experience with E-Commerce development
• Solid understanding of back-end and front-end development technologies (W3C Compliant xHTML, CSS, Javascript and libraries such as jQuery)
• Working knowledge of MS-SQL 2005 and MS-SQL2008, XML, FTP, SOAP
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Detailed and organized; excellent communicator
• Ability to collaborate on and work from wireframes, functional and technical specifications

Additional Skills Desired:
• Experience building large-scale web applications and infrastructure
• Integration with social network APIs
• Experience integrating backend intensive structures into a Flash environment
• Strong understanding and implementation of OOP methods, including knowledge of when they are and are not appropriate
• Experience working with creative team to execute creative solutions
• Enjoy working in a collaborative environment
• Must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in related field (Computer Science)
