Update from Cayan: Second Round of Cayan's IP Address Changes To Start Next Week
During the week of April 17, 2017, Cayan will begin implementing a new Internet Service Provider (ISP) at our Boston data center. By employing diverse ISPs, Cayan can better protect its services from Internet outages and traffic disruptions, and provide higher up-times and better service to our merchants. This is a final reminder about our Boston data center, and a follow-up to the emails we sent you on January 17 and February 20, 2017.
Most merchants won’t need to do anything in response to these changes, and will be able to seamlessly take advantage of the improvements. However, for security reasons, some merchants restrict outgoing internet traffic to a select few IP addresses (e.g., by using a whitelist). We ask any merchants employing a whitelist to unblock the following IP address ranges in preparation for our planned changeover:
In order to preserve your ability to run transactions until this changeover has occurred, please do not remove Cayan’s current IP addresses from any existing whitelists. We will let you know when it is safe to remove our old IP addresses.
